Before our trip to Eagle Lake Tevan decided he wanted to buy a cheap boat so we could take it and go exploring. Well I found a boat rental at the marina there so we decided to take that route. We were enjoying out beautiful lake experience until...

The motor started to smoke and it died in the middle of the lake. This lake is huge and we were near some of the only landmarks that we knew on the lake. Luckily we had brought the cell phone and I had bought some candy at the marina for the girls that came with a receipt with a phone number. Well it was not really the marina's number because they had the wrong area code on it. But we figured it out. We called them and they sent the Sheriff out to get us. I guess we did not mention that we were more towards the middle of the lake. Well we were stranded for about 1 1/2 hours until they finally located us. They towed us back to the Marina where we were refunded back our money.
This is how we occupied the girls. They each got to take pictures of us.

Wow, I can't believe you were brave enough to take your new baby out on the lake. I am glad you guys made it out OK!
