Yesterday my Grandma and sister Cindy came down to see us! I was surprised and happy to see Cindy! I knew there was a new restaurant in Galt that had opened recently. I thought it was a Chinese joint but, it was a Vietnamese place. I liked it. They had pretty dishes and chairs there. Since I had never been to a Vietnamese place I was not sure what they served. I had pork chops and rice. It was pretty good!
When we got back home Grandma had a bag of surprises for Brooke. Brooke thought it was Christmas. There was a tea set, pins from different fairs, a glass dolphin, key chains, barrettes, and bracelets. Brooke was in Heaven! She put on a church dress and accessorized. When Addie got home from school she put in all of the barrettes in her hair. This morning she was teaching me the proper way to do hair with them. Thanks Grandma and Cindy for visiting us. We had a great time!

Oh I forgot to mention the blue sunglasses with smiley faces in them. That was a big hit with Brooke.

Hopefully your experience with Vietnamese food was good. I didn't love the food when we were there.
