I am very grateful to our veterans who risk their lives to protect mine. I am grateful to be the grand daughter of a World War II hero, Richard O. Gettys. We visited his grave yesterday. He is buried in the Wall of Honor at Mt Vernon Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA.
