This year my side of the family decided rather than giving gifts we would make a memory instead! So since we all like Chinese food and dressing up.... We decided to have an Early Chinese New Years. I had a lot of fun with Cindy during the past few weeks making kimono's. It was really fun being creative and using fancy fabric. It was really neat to have both of my Grandma's there. Here is 4 generations of my family here!

I know Addie is cut off in this picture, but I think Alicia did a great job decorating, even with her broken hand.

Here is Addie modeling off her Kimono. I whipped up her and Brooke's in just one night. I like her design the most! She loved the butterflies.

Brooke loved the fortune cookies the most. She had fun modeling off her kimono also.

Here is Cindy modeling off Alicia's unfinished dress. We were trying to figure out the collar on it!

Here is Alicia!

Just in case you were wondering, the boys were ninjas/ karate kids. Spencer wore a golden Chinese outfit given to us by Tevan's Aunt when Addie was little. I did not get a picture.

My mom told me about the event. It looks and sounds like you all had a lot of fun both that night and in preparing for it. Mom laughed that she had a bath robe, but it looked like it fit right in. Everyone looked great! What a fun event and great idea!
