Nativity
We had a wonderful opportunity last night to partake in a live nativity. I got to do the part of Mary, Spencer was baby Jesus, Tevan was Joseph, Addie and Brooke were angels. I wonder what Mary would have felt like knowing what was going to happen to her son. I bet it would be overwhelming to try to prepare her child for such wonderful and magnificent things to come. I can;t imagine being 9 months pregnant and on a donkey. That must have been so uncomfortable. It must have been such an amazing night to see the Son of God be born. I can't even imagine all of the excitement, the joy, and happiness that must have taken place that night. To hold the redeemer of this world, it must have been humbling and amazing.

All of the kids have grown so much! I can't believe how quickly time goes! I love the nativity shots especially the ones with baby spencer wrapped up in the blanky. So cute
Except I kind of think that as mother's we feel that exact same joy when we hold our child too. Don't you think?
