Update on Life

We have been really busy this holiday season. So rather than make a separate blog for each thing I am just doing a recap of what I remember before I forget about all of the fun we have had!
Christmas Eve we played the traditional gift exchange blood bath game. Although this year there was not nearly enough stealing. The fun thing was being with all of my family this year! I got a glue gun (which I stole) and Tevan made out with a a little princess back pack with bracelets and make-up. He was our girls best friend!

Christmas was a blast. We spent the night at my moms house for the first time on Christmas eve ever. Santa got Tevan a video game for his X Box 360, he got me a flat iron, he got Addie and Brooke a new bike, he got spencer a high chair!

The day after Christmas we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! We had a trustworthy babysitter watch our kids while we went to Elk Grove and went shopping and out to dinner! We went to our friends house and played games that night.

On Saturday I finished the Twilight series!!!

That night we went to my little brothers Eagle Court of Honor. My little brother is amazing. He takes honor classes at school. He took all of the German courses and now is taking Spanish. He started a wood Shop this year and has made some amazing things just because he puts in extra hours. He is funny, sweet, good with my kids. He is preparing now to serve a mission in a year.

I thought it was remarkable the hours my dad has spent serving. He has been a boy scout master for my whole entire life. During his years serving he has helped 45 boys get their eagle scout award. During the past few months 6 boys have received their Eagle Scout award. In fact when my brother got his award he got it with 4 boys. So I am very proud of my Brother and my Dad!

During the New Years week Tevan and I made shelves for our garage storage area. We went to my Grandma Jeans house. There we had the yummy hippy pancakes, made persimmon cookies, and played games!

On New Years Eve we went to our friends house for a party. Addie was having a piggy back ride with a blow tow in her mouth (the kind with a card board end and she fell on the ground and it hurt the back of her throat. It was hard for her to swallow for a few days after that. But we played fun games like guestures and card games.

On New Years Tevan had a group over here paint balling. They had a blast as usual!

On Friday Tevan received a call from the Stake Presidency office. He extended a call as the Ward Clerk. The Ward clerk help with the clerical things like membership records and with tithing.

This last Monday I picked up the canner from the cannery and I have spent most of the week canning oatmeal, flour, rice, wheat, dry milk, and sugar. I canned 90 cans, Go Me! Oh and it was my little Brothers birthday! He is 18 years old now!

On Tuesday Spencer I think was diagnosed with Acid Reflux. He has been up during the night not being able to fall asleep unless I hold him on the couch. So I am sure we are in it for more Dr appointments! Poor little guy.
On a good note we just got our W-2 back yesterday and I have our taxes done!
