We have had a lot going on recently. Yesterday I finally got my nose job done! Well as much as I am going to get. I got operated on my turbinates which are inside of a nose. Mine were pretty large so the Ear Nose and Throat Specialist reduced them by 1/3. In a few days when my nose stops bleeding and the internal swelling goes down I should be able to breath better.
The initial surgery took 30 minutes. I was sedated and was awake through 1/2 of it but then I fell asleep. My nose does not hurt a bit! Although I need to be careful with lifting my 23 1/2 lb weight (AKA Spencer). Also, I am not supposed to nurse which is hard to just stop cold turkey, so I am pumping and dumping. Not fun, I really have not pumped through out Spencer's life. With Addie and Brooke I had a good storage, with Spencer he has had a lot of formula. Back a few years ago I had an Advent disposable system which I loved. I could pump into the bottle with a bag in it, take the bag out of the bottle, put a clip on it, and put it straight into the freezer. Now I have a medela which I have to pump into a regular bottle, put it into a bag, put it in the freezer, the defrost it, and then put it into my advent bottle. So I just have not done that. I have just given Spencer Formula when he is still hungry. My poor little baby.
Well I am supposed to take it easy for a few days and not exercise for a few weeks. The good news what that right after my surgery I could breath out of my nose really well!!! So we will see!

When can you nurse again? Is it just because of the meds you are on? I hope being pain-free keeps up.
