This year for my mom's 50th birthday we decided to throw her a surprise party 3 weeks early because Alicia was already coming out for Ricky's farewell for his mission. Also, in three weeks when it is actually her birthday Ricky would already be gone. So Cindy had my mom pick her up from work and we had a lot of family and some friends come to celebrate with us. I got a new scanner a few weeks ago and raided my grandmothers picture books and we made a memory book and a dvd slide show for her. Also I had some people send me some memories of her to share with her. All in all it was a great surprise and a fun day.
