A March 2010 update.

I think I might be really famous soon. Well between my really popular blog book (lol) I think I am going to print 4 or 5 copies. I want each of the kids to have a copy of all of the pictures and the little stories of their life and the emergency prepardness fair where a photographer for the Lodi Sentinal came and took my picture. I am bound to be all over the head lines. We had a booth there and we were helping people come up with water storage and purification ideas. I will post on that soon.

I just signed the girls up for school. I am trying to get them into another school instead of the one they are suposed to go to. I am probably making enemies at the school they are suppoosed to be at. On one of the forms it asked me why I did not want my kids going to the school and I said that I did not feel that the level of concern that the Principal had for my child was not suffiecent enough. I hope the Principal reads it. She made me really upset and I hope the girls get into the school I want.

I have started to teach brookie to read. She is reading words like mat and seed. Today I started to teach my niece how to read too. Right now all of the girls are out side hunting for lizards. They have been catching them by the armfuls recently.
This weekend is Stake Conference. Elder Holland is comming to speak to us. I can not wait! He is actually talking to our Stake in a non reagonal conference. I will tell you what he speaks to us about. I have a feeling it will be a mad house there. I am trying to decide if we should get there at 8 and try to sit there with our kids for 2 hours before it starts or if we should just plan on being in another room. Tevan will get to see him at the auxillary meeting the night before and I think he will be at the Adult session.

I got in trouble last week. Well maybe not introuble but I got Tevan really worried. On Wednesday Tevan was at school and I thought he was going to be home late, but He got home earlier than I expected and I was out at my friend Cary's house. She lost her husband a few months ago so it Okay for me to be over there until late. She needed some computer help which turned into some other projects all which I really enjoyed helping out with. Anyhow I was there from 1 pm until 10pm or so. I was there until she got a frantic call from Tevan asking if she had heard anything from me. I guess Tevan had called my Mom and Dad,  all of the local family members and was making his way down the ward list of people I might go and see and on an off chance he had called her. Luckily, he found me because I think the next call was to the highway patrol to look for my car on the side of the road. I am lucky to be so loved by him. He is lucky that I am home 99.99 % of the time when he gets home from work and school. Usually I have soemthing ready for him. That day I got to brag about the tamales I had for dinner!

After I finish my blog project I am going figure out something to do with the family history project. I have been feeling the urgency that I need to get it done soon. Earlier last week I canned 246 cans of dry food from the cannery. We now have a 1 year supply of food. Now I need to gather up the supplies to make an emergency prepardness binder.

Our kitchen fire we had a few weeks ago? Well we had a little butane stove and we put a new butane cartridge in it and it caught on fire.Tevan put on some oven mits and threw out side onto the rock pile Luckily, there was no damage to the kitchen. I had to get a new stove.

Did mention the girls are in gymnastics? Yesterday I was going to take the girls to gymnastics and Addie started to complain that her tummy was hurting her. While I was in the middle of telling her to suck it up and get in the car. April came over with Calliegh who had just puked all over the car. So I left Spencer and Addie with Grandma while I took Brookie and our friend Emma to gymnastics. Brookie did great and was eating all fine until we turned off of the freeway and were headed into home. She started to speak and all I could hear was some one puking all over the back seat. All over our friend Emma. It was gross. Then she started fall asleep in the back of the car. When I got home I went in to tell them that I was here and had to get Brookie all cleaned up and Spencer decided he wanted to come with me. He found the way to the mud puddle, Jessie found the way to the carseat and the floor mat that had vomit all over it and he helped me clean it up. It was so gross.

Calligh came over after Brookie got out of the shower and said Guess What Brookie I threw up today in the car. Brookies said guess what I threw up in the car too. That means we can touch each other. Then they took out their pointer fingers and touched eath others pointers. They are really funny together.

On Sunday I taught the 4-5 year olds. They were so hyper it was CRAZY. I think it was the switch of the Day light savings or the fact of having a substitute. But we talked about missionaries and Brookie got to tell her class that her uncle was on a mission. She really liked that.
