10 year reunion

I had a great time this last weekend at my 10 year reunion. First we went to a park and saw the people who showed up and their kids. I am really glad I went because not only did I rekindle some friendships but I learned that the club we were going to called The Mix in Downtown Sacramento was a cocktail dress. That honestly did not mean anything to me. I dress up every week to go to church but I have found that most of the time people dressing up is not wearing dresses or a nice shirt and slacks. So I did not pack any when we spent the night at my parents house.  Then Tevan decided he wanted to go to the reunion! I He is more social than I am and talked to a lot more people than I did at the reunion and at the park.

After the picnic Tevan went to a business meeting and did not get back until 3:30 and we either needed to drive back home and back again to drop off the kids and make it to the reunion or go and buy some new clothes. Well we got clothing for Tevan and I for under 100 Dollars. I got a cute black dress for 12 1/2 dollars and Tevan got shoes, slacks, a belt, and a dress up shirt.

At the reunion they had some great food. They had chicken and steak on a stick, some gourmet pizza, and really delicious macaroni and cheese with bread crumbs in it. I saw a lot of friends and Tevan chatted around. I got an award for having the most kids. It turns out there was another couple there with 3 kids and I know of some one who is further than I am with kids from my class and many other people with 3 kids. All in all we had a great time. It was weird being around people drinking. I am not used to that. On the way home we stopped at Wendys and got some soda and a frosty!
