Addie is 8 which is Great!

We have had a fun last week or so. Addie turned 8, which is an age that we feel she has reached to where she can be accountable for her actions. She choose to get her ears pierced. She knew there would be pain and that she would need to take care of them. But she made the choice to do it. She also choose to become a member of the church by being baptized. She knew that she would promise to try to be like Jesus, attend church, she would be in charge of paying tithes, read her scriptures and say her prayers. She choose to do it and was baptized! Tevan baptized her and gave her the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was a very special night!

We had a fun pony party for her where the girls decorated paper doll clothes and played pin the tail on the pony. All in all it has been a fun week.

I love having Addie as my child. She has always been very thoughtful and loving to those around her. She is extremely creative and loves to learn and read. She had a gift of finding beauty all around her like the pretty flowers and butterflies birds and clouds. She has been a wonderful help especially while I have been pregnant. She is a wonderful artist and some times teaches me how to draw. Although she has only been part of my life for 8 years I can not imagine my life with out her in it. I am thankful Heavenly Father sent her to me!
