I want to listen to a song...

Usually when I am driving the car I listen to talk radio. My favorite talk show is the Clark Howard show. He is a wonderful financial advocate who gives advice from good vacation deals, to mortgage scams, to how to deal with credit card problems. In fact, if I had to work and had to find a job, I would want to be a financial advisor and help people get out of debt and make good choices.

Well today, while driving, I was listening to him and Brooke said in her sweet little voice "Mom I want to hear a song please." I asked if she wanted me to sing her one and she said "no." She wanted to hear one on the radio. So I turned on the classical music. A few minutes later we arrived home and I parked and turned off the car. She was upset that I interrupted her song and insisted that I turn on her "Pretty Song."

I love being a mom. I love watching my children grow up and develop their Independence and their own personality. I love holding my baby Spencer. He is such a sweet little boy. I love when he smiles and makes cute baby noises at me. I am a lucky girl!
