Spencer's Smile

Spencer is starting to talk to us now. He also has started to wake up at 12 AM and have rough sleep for the next 4 to 5 hours. He missed out on shots because I had to be responsible and pick up kids from the kindergarten today. So I am sure he was extra happy.

Earlier today I heard the door open. So I told Brooke that she needed to stay inside. She said
"I Can't, I have to let the little cricket out." Yes my girls are not squeamish when it comes to live critters. Both of them capture random bugs on the 40 acres and let them go out side.

Today I took Brooke in for a follow up appointment. Her tube is looking pretty good. We will see how her hearing is doing at the end of the month. If her hearing has been restored than we can get her evaluated by a speech therapist to see if she need some extra help. She can talk pretty well given her circumstance of not being able to hear for who knows how long. Instead of saying the L sound she changes it to a W. M sounds are N sounds. Maybe it is in the range of being normal? Maybe not? On Saturday she said "Mom do you hear that?" That was one of the first time to make it.

Do you know how to make a 5 year old happy? Well today at school Addie's teacher gave them fruit snacks. First they had to count them. Then they got to eat them. Well it made 1 really happy 5 year old!
