Nose Job...

On Thursday I talked with an Ears Nose and Throat Specialist about getting a NOSE JOB. That sounds so scary. I have a problem using my nose. When I breath in it kind of sucks in. So I have a hard time using it when I talk, run, sing... He first went into a comprehensive major surgery that sounds really scary involving cutting open my nose and taking cartilage from the middle and using it to support the part that needs help. Then he went into all of the side effects that my nose would be swollen for up to a year, my upper lip and teeth could be numb (which is pretty common) for a year, and then stated that it might not even help. (don't worry I think the consequences out weigh the benefits, I am not ready for this surgery)

Then I noticed that this medicine that he had put into my nose earlier in the appointment had taken its effects and so their is a minor non evasive surgery that he can do that might help me breath better that will not involve cutting open my nose. It involves sedating me and shaving off some membrane that likes to swell up in there. I will have that done in the next few months!
