On Sunday I went on a nice walk around University of San Diego. We went to the singles ward and it was really weird. I actually got to listen and it was really spiritual. I am usually chasing spencer or drawing pictures. I can't remember the last time I needed to sit so still. I got a little fidgety. After church we went and enjoyed the beautiful ocean. Later that night we had a girls night at Alicia's and watched 7 brides for 7 brothers. I have never watched that movie with so many single girls. It was awesome and fun! We had home made pizza and apples dipped in peanut butter.
On Monday, Alicia took it off of work. We went to a fancy breakfast place where there was actually a line to get in at 10 am??? We had a dutch apple pancake and a german cake that had broccoli on it. Both were delicious. Then we drove out to Coronado and rented beach cruisers and were having a great time until my mom's bike tire blew out. Then we had fun walking out bikes across the coronado island. After that we went and got pedicures!!! Went looking for costumes for Alicia. We then decided to sew Alicia's costume and we went looking around for a fabric store. So we found an awesome on in an old movie theater! We had Thai for dinner. Very yummy! After we went to Alicia house and rested and later that night we went to a dessert place and got 2 slices of cake and shared them! Very yummy again!
On Tuesday we walked around Down Town San Diego and watched people board a boat for a cruise. Then I got to go enjoy the San Diego Temple while Alicia was at work and CIndy and Mom looked for places for Cindy to move to and work at when she move there next year! We went to the San Diego board walk and laid on the freezing cold beach and then it was time for me to go home.
The trip was amazing and so relaxing. Originally I was going to drive out with the kids and stay a little longer, but my Mother in-law offered to take the kids and I got to sleep in and spoil myself!
