Today we got the privilege to go to La Bou and to the Sacramento Zoo with our Great-Grandma Jean. I decided to take Brooke there on her last legal day of being free. They have a penguin exhibit along with a frog exhibit. Another highlight was the Anteater. He came up close and personal to us. He kept circling his area for ants. We got to see a little snake eat a little mouse. That was really my first time seeing a mouse go down in real life. 
Grandma is an expert on flowers and Addie and her enjoyed all of the different kind of flowers there. Addie loved the extra Grandma attention. 
On our way back to the car the girls found a ladybug and Brooke watched that for about 5 minutes. Right now I believe she is out side capturing ladybugs by the handful. She has her special spot to find them. 
Addie took her first picture today.
