Well I have now lived in Galt for 3 years and I have finally visited the Galt Consumnes River Bird Preserve. Today Tevan came home from work and wanted to do some kyacking. At first he wanted to fgo to the American River and then we decided that we would try the local Consumnes Bird Preservation. It was really beautiful and peaceful there today. I thought Spencer would try to jump out of the Kyack, but he was really relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Then he just sat in his stroller while Tevan took out Addie even though we were on the dock. Usually he acts like a toddler who is trying to move at any given time. Brookie had fun finding long stems and pretending they were fishing poles. She really wanted to go swimming and tried to convince me that I should let her go and find Tevan and Addie. I asked her where they were and she pointed to the wrong direction. I loved it when Tevan had everyone on the boat and I got to enjoy the peace and quiet for about 10 minutes. I don't usually hear just the pretty nature with out my pretty little voices.
